Position Overview:

We are seeking a dependable and detail-oriented Housekeeper to join our team in the Marriottsville, Maryland area. This individual will play a key role in maintaining a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for all guests and staff. The ideal candidate takes pride in their work, demonstrates a positive attitude, and is committed to delivering an exceptional guest experience.

Key Responsibilities:

• Clean and maintain overnight rooms to ensure they meet established cleanliness and presentation standards
• Perform routine cleaning of hallways, lobbies, lounges, restrooms, stairways, and locker rooms
• Vacuum, sweep, and maintain rugs and carpets as assigned
• Operate and maintain cleaning equipment, including vacuum cleaners and other housekeeping tools
• Maintain a neat, clean, and properly labeled housekeeping cart at all times
• Ensure storage rooms and janitorial areas are organized and stocked appropriately
• Assist with conference room setup and breakdown as needed
• Follow all safety and sanitation guidelines when handling cleaning chemicals and equipment
• Provide a friendly, courteous, and approachable attitude toward guests and team members
• Contribute to creating a welcoming environment and delivering a positive, lasting experience for all guests

Qualifications:

• Prior housekeeping or janitorial experience preferred, but not required
• Ability to work independently and efficiently in a fast-paced environment
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to cleanliness
• Good communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to lift, push, and pull cleaning equipment and supplies as needed
