Job Summary We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Housekeeper to join our team! In this vital role, you will be responsible for maintaining a clean, comfortable, and welcoming environment for residents or guests. Your energetic approach and keen eye for cleanliness will ensure that every space meets high standards of sanitation and aesthetic appeal. Whether working in residential settings, hotels, or commercial spaces, you will play a key role in delivering exceptional service and creating a positive experience for everyone you serve. This position offers an opportunity to showcase your cleaning expertise while contributing to a safe and hygienic environment. Responsibilities Perform thorough cleaning of residential or commercial spaces, including dusting, vacuuming, mopping, and sanitizing surfaces to ensure cleanliness and hygiene. Handle laundry duties such as washing, drying, folding, and organizing linens or clothing items with care and efficiency. Maintain floor care by sweeping, buffing, waxing, or carpet cleaning to preserve the appearance and safety of all flooring types. Ensure all sanitation standards are met by properly disinfecting bathrooms, kitchens, and common areas according to health guidelines. Provide excellent customer service by responding promptly to residents' or guests' requests and addressing any concerns professionally. Manage janitorial supplies inventory and notify management when stock levels are low to ensure continuous availability of cleaning materials. Assist with housekeeping management tasks such as scheduling cleaning routines or training new team members when required. Experience Previous custodial or janitorial experience is preferred, especially in residential cleaning or hotel environments. Familiarity with commercial cleaning techniques and equipment is highly desirable. Experience with floor care methods including carpet cleaning and floor waxing is advantageous. Knowledge of sanitation practices and safety procedures related to cleaning chemicals and equipment. Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively and professionally. Prior housekeeping management experience is a plus for supervisory roles. Hands-on experience with laundry operations and housekeeper responsibilities in hospitality settings will be beneficial.
