We connect clients with local, vetted independent contractors who take pride in their work and represent the BDS standard in every home they enter. We're growing fast and looking for reliable, detail-oriented cleaning professionals to grow with us. The Role As a Residential Cleaning Technician with Brighter Day Services, you'll provide professional cleaning services in clients' homes across your assigned region. You work independently, manage your own schedule within your booked appointments, and represent the BDS brand at every visit. This is a 1099 independent contractor role — you're your own boss, backed by a professional booking and support system. What You'll Do Perform standard, deep, move-in/move-out, and recurring residential cleaning as booked Follow BDS cleaning standards and checklists for every job Take before-and-after photos to document completed work Communicate professionally with clients and report any issues promptly Bring your own cleaning supplies, or purchase a starter kit through BDS Arrive on time and prepared for every scheduled appointment Requirements 18 years of age or older Reliable personal transportation to travel to job sites (required — you're responsible for your own transportation costs) Your own cleaning supplies — either your own kit or one purchased through BDS (starter kits available with a payment plan for first-timers) Strong attention to detail and pride in your work Prior cleaning experience preferred, but not required Comfortable receiving jobs and communicating through our scheduling platform Able to pass a background check Schedule Flexible — based on your availability and booked appointments. No minimum hours guaranteed; work is assigned as bookings come in for your region. Pay & Payment $18.00-$24.00 per hour based on experience, paid via direct deposit (Square) on a bi-weekly basis. Supplies Bring your own cleaning supplies, or purchase a BDS starter kit through our company store — consumables like solutions, cloths, dusters, and mopping systems. A payment plan is available on first-time kit purchases. Techs are responsible for providing their own mop/bucket, broom, and vacuum.
