Position Summary Kent Island Resort is seeking reliable and detail-oriented Room Attendants to join our housekeeping team. This role is essential to delivering an exceptional guest experience by ensuring guest rooms and public areas meet the highest standards of cleanliness and comfort. Our ideal candidate takes pride in their work, demonstrates strong attention to detail, and embodies Vivamee's values through a positive attitude and service-minded approach. Key Responsibilities Clean and maintain guest rooms, bathrooms, and assigned public areas to brand standards Change linens, make beds, and replenish amenities and supplies Vacuum, dust, sanitize, and ensure all surfaces are properly cleaned Report maintenance issues, damages, or safety concerns promptly Follow proper cleaning procedures, safety guidelines, and infection control standards Restock housekeeping carts and maintain organized work areas Deliver friendly and professional interactions with guests and team members Support team members and contribute to a collaborative work environment Qualifications Prior housekeeping or cleaning experience preferred, but not required Strong attention to detail and time management skills Ability to work independently and as part of a team Ability to stand, walk, bend, and lift up to 25-30 lbs regularly Reliable attendance and flexibility to work weekends and holidays Compensation & Benefits Starting pay: $18.00 per hour Paid time off (if eligible) Employee discounts and resort perks Opportunities for growth within Vivamee Hospitality Why Join Kent Island Resort?
