Job Overview:

The shift requirements are either 1pm-9pm or 2pm-10pm We are seeking a dedicated and energetic Houseperson to join our hospitality team! In this vital role, you will be the backbone of maintaining a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for our guests and staff. Your enthusiasm and attention to detail will ensure that public areas, hallways, and service spaces are spotless, organized, and inviting. Responsibilities Perform thorough cleaning of public areas including lobbies, hallways, stairwells, and elevators to uphold cleanliness standards. Maintain floors through sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, and polishing to ensure a pristine appearance. Assist with replenishing supplies in guest areas such as towels, toiletries, and amenities to enhance guest comfort. Support housekeeping staff by delivering linens, cleaning supplies, and other materials as needed. Conduct routine inspections of common areas to identify maintenance issues or safety hazards and report them promptly. Ensure all janitorial equipment is properly maintained and stored after use for safety and efficiency. Follow health and safety guidelines diligently to create a safe environment for guests and team members. Skills Proven experience in cleaning, custodial work, or janitorial services within hospitality or industrial settings. Strong knowledge of floor care techniques including sweeping, mopping, polishing, and carpet cleaning. Previous hotel or hospitality experience is highly preferred for understanding guest service standards. Ability to operate cleaning machinery such as floor buffers or carpet extractors confidently. Excellent attention to detail with a proactive approach to maintaining cleanliness standards. Good physical stamina for standing, walking, bending, and lifting throughout shifts.
