Job Description
Overview We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Housekeeper to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness and orderliness in various settings, including residential homes, hotels, and commercial spaces. This role requires a strong commitment to customer service and an eye for detail to ensure that all areas are kept to the highest standards of cleanliness. Responsibilities Perform thorough cleaning of assigned areas, including dusting, vacuuming, mopping, and sanitizing surfaces. Manage floor care tasks such as sweeping, waxing, and polishing floors to maintain a pristine environment. Handle laundry services including washing, drying, folding, and organizing linens and towels. Ensure that cleaning supplies are stocked and report any maintenance issues or repairs needed in the facility. Provide exceptional customer service by addressing guest inquiries and requests promptly and courteously. Assist with additional tasks as needed, such as cooking or preparing light meals when required. Maintain records of cleaning schedules and completed tasks to ensure accountability and efficiency. Qualifications Previous experience in commercial cleaning, hotel housekeeping, or custodial services is preferred. Strong understanding of residential cleaning techniques and housekeeping management practices. Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with clients and guests. Familiarity with carpet cleaning methods and equipment is a plus. Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment. Attention to detail with a commitment to delivering high-quality results consistently. Physical stamina to perform cleaning tasks that may require lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods.
