This is a Full Time position located in Portland, ME. In this position you will be responsible for the cleanliness of the hotel and grounds, moving furniture, and interacting with guests. Work Performed As a houseperson, you will be responsible for ensuring the cleanliness and appearance of the entire hotel to create a memorable and unique experience for our guests. Provide basic housekeeping duties for all public spaces including vacuuming, dusting, and trash removal Report and return any guest properties that were left behind Report cases of property damage to supervisor Work with a team of housekeepers on each shift Keep workstations and equipment clean, organized, and in good working order Work with other staff members to ensure that all guest rooms meet hotel standards and accommodate any special guest needs Performs other duties as assigned, requested or deemed necessary by management Requirements High school education or equivalent experience Must have a valid drivers license a good driver history. This position requires light cleaning as well as running things to rooms and driving the shuttle.
