Responsibilities Perform thorough cleaning of guest rooms, including dusting, vacuuming, bed making, and replenishing amenities to ensure a high standard of cleanliness. Maintain cleanliness of public areas such as lobbies, hallways, restrooms, and other shared spaces by sweeping, mopping, disinfecting surfaces, and ensuring sanitation compliance. Handle various cleaning equipment and chemical agents safely and efficiently in accordance with safety data sheets (SDS) and hotel protocols. Conduct heavy lifting tasks when moving furniture or supplies while adhering to manual handling safety procedures. Follow hotel housekeeping management procedures to prioritize tasks, document completed work, and report maintenance or safety issues promptly. Ensure proper disposal of waste and use sanitation techniques that meet industry standards for hygiene and safety. Provide excellent customer service by responding courteously to guest requests or inquiries related to housekeeping services. Requirements Proven experience in hotel housekeeping or industrial cleaning environments preferred; familiarity with hotel housekeeping management is a plus. Knowledge of floor care techniques including floor cleaning, chemical handling, vacuuming, and use of cleaning equipment. Ability to handle chemical agents safely while maintaining sanitation standards; understanding of safety data sheets (SDS) is essential. Physical ability to perform heavy lifting ( up to 50lbs) and manual handling tasks comfortably throughout shifts. Strong attention to detail with excellent organizational skills for managing multiple cleaning tasks efficiently. Commitment to hospitality standards and customer service excellence; ability to work independently or as part of a team. Knowledge of hotel emergency procedures ensures safety during all operations.
