Housekeeping - Aide

Cleans lobbies, lounges, rest rooms, corridors, offices, and resident rooms, clean soiled utility rooms. Mops, scrubs, waxes, dust mop and polish floors as scheduled. Vaccum rugs, carpets, and cleans upholstered furniture, and draperies. Dusts furniture. Washes walls, ceilings, vents, and woodwork. Wash and clean windows, door panels, window sills, lights, mirrors, nightstands, over the bed tables, baseboards, registers. Empty and clean waste baskets. Transports soiled linen and trash waste to disposal area. Replenish appropriate supplies in restrooms. Report broken or damaged articles in writing to the housekeeping supervisor. Responsible for keeping the janitor closet and equipment clean. Responsible for picking up and delivering P.S. packages. Distribute attends to all units. Clean utility carts. Fill bird feeders. Report all safety hazards to your department supervisor. Maintain resident confidentiality; treat residents with kindness, dignity and respect; know and comply with all Resident's Rights rules; and promptly report all resident accidents and injuries to charge nurse.
