Room Attendant

Job Overview Position Summary:

The Room Attendant is responsible for maintaining clean, comfortable, and attractive guest rooms and public areas to ensure a positive experience for hotel guests. This position plays a key role in maintaining the hotel's cleanliness standards and overall guest satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities:

Clean and service assigned guest rooms daily according to hotel standards Change bed linens, make beds, and replace towels and toiletries Dust furniture, vacuum carpets, and clean floors Clean and sanitize bathrooms including sinks, toilets, showers, and mirrors Empty trash and replace trash liners Restock guest room supplies such as coffee, cups, and amenities Report maintenance issues or safety hazards to management immediately Ensure all rooms are properly secured after cleaning Follow proper cleaning and sanitation procedures Maintain housekeeping carts and supply closets in an organized manner Provide friendly and professional service when interacting with guests Assist with cleaning public areas when needed

Daily Duties May Include:

Cleaning guest rooms after check-out Refreshing stay-over guest rooms Inspecting rooms for damages or missing items Reporting lost and found items according to hotel policy Meeting daily room cleaning quotas

Requirements:

Ability to work independently and efficiently Strong attention to detail Ability to lift, bend, push, and stand for long periods Good time management skills Reliable attendance and punctuality Customer service oriented attitude

Preferred Qualifications:

Previous housekeeping or hotel experience preferred but not required Ability to work weekends and holidays as needed

Pay:

$13.73 - $15.00 per hour
