Duties Perform thorough cleaning of all designated areas, including bedrooms, bathrooms, kitchens, living spaces, and outdoor areas when applicable. Handle laundry duties such as washing, drying, folding, and organizing linens and clothing items efficiently. Maintain floor care through sweeping, mopping, vacuuming carpets, and applying appropriate treatments to preserve flooring quality. Ensure sanitation standards are met by disinfecting surfaces, waste disposal, and managing janitorial supplies. Assist with heavy lifting tasks related to moving furniture or equipment safely using proper manual handling techniques. Manage housekeeping supplies inventory and restock materials as needed to ensure smooth operations. Provide excellent customer service by addressing residents' or clients' requests promptly and professionally while maintaining a positive attitude. Conduct outdoor work when necessary, including yard maintenance or exterior cleaning tasks to enhance curb appeal. Follow established cleaning protocols and safety procedures consistently to promote a clean and hazard-free environment. Qualifications Proven experience in residential or commercial cleaning, janitorial work, or hotel housekeeping roles. Strong knowledge of cleaning techniques, floor care methods, sanitation practices, and laundry procedures. Physical ability to perform manual handling tasks including heavy lifting and prolonged standing or walking. Excellent time management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks efficiently in a fast-paced environment. Customer service-oriented mindset with clear communication skills. Experience with outdoor work or grounds maintenance is a plus. Familiarity with carpet cleaning equipment and commercial cleaning tools is desirable.
