Duties Perform thorough cleaning of residential or commercial spaces, including dusting, vacuuming, mopping, and sanitizing surfaces to ensure a spotless environment Handle laundry tasks such as washing, drying, folding, and organizing linens and clothing with care and efficiency Maintain floor care by vacuuming carpets, buffing hardwood floors, and applying appropriate treatments for durability and shine Conduct detailed sanitation procedures in kitchens and bathrooms, ensuring compliance with health and safety standards Provide excellent customer service by addressing client needs courteously and professionally during cleaning sessions Manage janitorial tasks including waste disposal, replenishing supplies, and maintaining cleaning equipment in optimal condition Assist with housekeeping management duties when necessary, including scheduling and inventory management for cleaning supplies Experience Previous custodial or janitorial experience preferred; hotel or residential cleaning background highly valued Familiarity with commercial cleaning techniques and equipment such as carpet cleaners and floor buffers Knowledge of sanitation standards and safety protocols to ensure a hygienic environment Experience with laundry operations and stain removal techniques Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively and professionally with clients or guests Ability to perform physical tasks including lifting, bending, standing for extended periods, and operating cleaning machinery safely Prior housekeeping management experience is a plus but not required; willingness to learn is essential Embark on a rewarding career where your dedication transforms spaces into pristine environments!
