Responsibilities Operate garment care machines such as industrial washers, dryers, and dry cleaning equipment with precision and adherence to safety standards. Perform laundry washing, textile cleaning, and sanitation procedures to ensure all items meet quality standards. Handle materials carefully using push carts and manual handling techniques to transport linens, clothing, and other textiles efficiently. Maintain cleanliness of laundry areas by sweeping, mopping, and disinfecting surfaces regularly. Follow safety protocols during heavy lifting and materials handling to prevent injuries and ensure a safe working environment. Assist with customer service by responding promptly to laundry requests or inquiries from staff or guests. Manage inventory of laundry detergents and cleaning supplies, ensuring proper storage and usage according to safety standards. Skills Strong knowledge of cleaning techniques and sanitation practices essential for textile cleaning environments. Experience operating laundry services equipment such as industrial dryers, garment care machines, and dry cleaning units. Ability to perform heavy lifting safely while maintaining proper manual handling techniques. Basic math skills for measuring detergents, chemicals, or other materials accurately. Familiarity with safety standards in production environments to uphold safety protocol adherence at all times.
