Housekeeping

Overview:

We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Housekeeper to join our team. As a Housekeeper, you will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness and sanitation standards in various settings, such as commercial buildings, hotels, and residential properties. This is a paid position with opportunities for growth and development.

Duties:

• Perform general cleaning tasks, including dusting, sweeping, mopping, and vacuuming
• Clean and sanitize bathrooms, kitchens, and common areas
• Launder and change bed linens
• Empty trash receptacles and dispose of waste properly
• Clean windows, mirrors, and other glass surfaces
• Maintain inventory of cleaning supplies and request replenishment as needed
• Follow established safety procedures and guidelines
• Adhere to housekeeping management instructions and schedules
• Perform additional duties as assigned

Requirements:

• Previous experience in custodial or commercial cleaning preferred
• Knowledge of carpet cleaning techniques is a plus
• Familiarity with housekeeping management practices is beneficial
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
• Strong attention to detail and time management skills
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Physical stamina to perform repetitive tasks and lift heavy objects if required
• Flexibility to work different shifts as needed (including weekends)
• Must have reliable transportation
