This role plays a critical part in ensuring the comfort and well-being of residents by upholding cleanliness standards and infection control policies. Duties Clean and sanitize resident apartments, common areas, dining rooms, bathrooms, and other facility spaces according to daily and weekly schedules. Perform tasks such as dusting, vacuuming, sweeping, mopping, and trash removal. Make beds, change linens, and replenish bathroom and bedroom supplies as needed. Launder resident personal clothing and facility linens as assigned. Use appropriate cleaning solutions and supplies, following safety guidelines and infection control procedures. Report maintenance issues, hazards, or resident safety concerns to management. Respect residents' privacy and maintain confidentiality at all times. Respond promptly and courteously to resident or staff housekeeping requests. Follow all facility policies, including HIPAA, safety, and infection prevention. Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent preferred. Weekend availability Prior housekeeping experience, preferably in a healthcare, senior living, or hospitality setting. Understanding of cleaning products and procedures. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Compassionate, respectful, and sensitive to the needs of the elderly.
