Saline, MI Job Details Part-time | Full-time 1 day ago Qualifications High school diploma or GED Task prioritization Full Job Description Housekeeper's at EHM Senior Solutions are responsible for maintaining a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for residents, staff, and visitors. This role is crucial in ensuring that the living spaces and common areas are kept to the highest standards of cleanliness and hygiene, contributing to the overall comfort and satisfaction of our residents.
Key Responsibilities:
Perform routine cleaning tasks such as dusting, sweeping, mopping, and vacuuming in resident rooms and common areas. Ensure that all cleaning supplies and equipment are used and stored safely and appropriately. Change linens and make beds in resident rooms, ensuring a tidy and comfortable living space. Clean and sanitize bathrooms, including sinks, toilets, showers, and floors. Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards to the appropriate personnel promptly. Assist in maintaining inventory of cleaning supplies and request replenishment as needed. Follow established cleaning protocols and procedures to ensure compliance with health and safety regulations. Provide courteous and respectful service to residents, addressing any specific cleaning requests or concerns. Collaborate with other staff members to ensure a cohesive and efficient operation within the facility. Participate in training sessions and meetings to stay informed about new cleaning techniques and safety guidelines.
Required Education:
High school diploma or equivalent.
Preferred Experience:
Previous housekeeping experience in a healthcare or senior living environment is preferred. Experience working in a team-oriented setting with a focus on customer service.
Required Skills and Abilities:
Ability to follow detailed instructions and complete tasks efficiently. Strong attention to detail to ensure cleanliness and safety standards are met. Excellent communication skills to interact with residents and staff effectively. Capability to handle cleaning equipment and supplies safely. Physical stamina to perform tasks such as lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods. Ability to manage time effectively and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment. Demonstrated reliability and punctuality in work attendance.
