Housekeeper - Beachfront Inn - Simple Rms - Team Spirit/Support

Job Overview:

The starting wage is $16-18/hr which includes a $2 bonus per hour worked. Bonus is dependent on team members ability to show up on time for scheduled shifts. We value experience and will consider it in wage negotiations. Hands-on training is provided through a comfortable learning on-the-job pace. You are never left on an island until you are comfortable leading at your pace and performance.

Purpose:

To clean guest rooms and building interior with a high degree of quality cleanliness.

Essential Functions:

Clean rooms assigned for the day in an efficient manner Assist team members to complete all rooms to be cleaned for the day Clean building interior, including but not limited to lobby, public restrooms, hallways, common areas, as directed Keep housekeeping areas, including carts, closets, and storage areas, clean and organized Assist in laundry operations, including washing, folding, and stocking necessary daily linen.

Additional Duties:

Assist guests in an emergency situation. Additional duties as assigned by the Innkeeper or management

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

Physical ability to stand, sit, stoop, bend, reach, carry, and lift up to 50 pounds Good written and verbal skills to communicate to staff. Ability to read and follow directions
