Job Description
Job Overview We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Housekeeper to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for cleanliness and a commitment to providing exceptional service in a hospitality environment. This role is essential in maintaining the overall appearance and hygiene of our facilities, ensuring that guests have a comfortable and welcoming experience. Duties Perform thorough cleaning of guest rooms, common areas, and facilities, ensuring high standards of cleanliness are met. Conduct floor care tasks including sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, and polishing surfaces. Manage laundry services by washing, drying, folding, and organizing linens and towels. Restock supplies in guest rooms and common areas as needed. Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards to management promptly. Adhere to health and safety regulations while performing cleaning duties. Assist with special projects or deep cleaning tasks as assigned by housekeeping management. Qualifications Previous experience in housekeeping or janitorial roles preferred; hotel or hospitality experience is a plus. Strong attention to detail with the ability to maintain high cleanliness standards. Knowledge of industrial cleaning techniques and custodial practices is advantageous. Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment. Excellent time management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively. Good communication skills and a friendly demeanor towards guests and staff alike.
