About the Role As a Housekeeper, you'll help create a clean, comfortable, and welcoming environment for campers, staff, and guests. You'll be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and orderly appearance of cabins, public buildings, and other assigned spaces while helping ensure our facilities are ready for the people who use them. This is a hands-on role that plays an important part in the overall camp experience. Your work helps create a safe, comfortable, and welcoming environment throughout camp. Where You Could Work This role may be available at one or more of our three camp locations: Camp Friendship | Annandale, MN Camp Eden Wood | Eden Prairie, MN Camp Courage | Maple Lake, MN Please note: Specific positions and openings vary by location and staffing needs. This role may not be available at every location listed above. You'll be able to indicate your preferred location(s) during the application process, and we'll consider your preferences based on current needs. What You'll Do Your responsibilities may include: Clean and maintain cabins, public buildings, and other assigned areas Complete general housekeeping duties to maintain clean, orderly, and welcoming spaces Help prepare spaces for campers, staff, and guests Communicate housekeeping needs, maintenance concerns, and updates to the Supervisor and/or Director of Facilities Identify areas requiring additional cleaning, supplies, or attention Follow established cleaning, safety, and facility procedures Work collaboratively with housekeeping and facilities staff Perform other duties as assigned Why You'll Love It Make a difference: Help create a clean and comfortable environment where guests can focus on having a great experience.

Housekeepers should be prepared to:

Walk, sit, stand, bend, climb, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, crawl, and move throughout the workday Work in a variety of weather conditions Work in elevated, precarious, or high locations as needed Hear and communicate verbally with coworkers and supervisors Use hands and fingers to operate cleaning tools, equipment, and controls Lift and/or carry objects weighing up to 50 pounds Move throughout cabins, public buildings, and other camp facilities Work around campers, staff, and guests while completing housekeeping duties Specific physical demands and environmental conditions may vary based on the assignment. Compensation New Housekeepers are paid an hourly rate of $15.67/hour Returning staff may be eligible for a higher rate based on previous True Friends' experience
