Job Description
Room Attendants are responsible for the cleanliness of guest rooms as well as the cleanliness of common areas of the hotel. They are responsible for a guest's first impression of their room, making sure that it is cleaned with no evidence that someone else stayed in the room prior. Room Attendants are also responsible for working with other departments to make sure that room issues are conveyed to those who can fix the issue. Our Room Attendant team works together to make sure the rooms are within standards and perfect for a guest's stay with us. They assist guests with questions and needs for their room, such as clean linens, vacuuming, and replenishment of complimentary toiletries. They are a part of the heart of our hotel functionality. Job requirements include but are not limited to: Frequent standing and crouching Lifting up to 30 pounds Repetitive movements of shoulders and arms Ability to communicate effectively with guests, team members, and other departments Occasionally use staircase Stocking and maintaining cleaning cart Complying with all safety and security policies Ability to handle stressful situation in a calm, professional manner
