Operate cleaning equipment safely and effectively, including carpet cleaners, floor buffers, and janitorial tools. Maintain floor care through sweeping, scrubbing, polishing, and applying appropriate cleaning agents for different flooring types. Manage manual handling of heavy lifting tasks related to moving furniture or large cleaning supplies while adhering to safety protocols. Communicate professionally with clients or residents to understand specific cleaning needs and provide excellent customer service. Ensure outdoor work areas are tidy and well-maintained when applicable. Follow all health and safety regulations related to cleaning detergents, equipment use, and sanitation standards. Manage time effectively to complete daily cleaning schedules while maintaining flexibility for special requests or urgent tasks. Experience Prior experience in residential or commercial cleaning environments is highly preferred. Demonstrated janitorial or custodial experience with knowledge of cleaning procedures and equipment operation. Experience with hotel housekeeping or similar hospitality roles is advantageous. Familiarity with carpet cleaning techniques and floor care methods is desirable. Strong organizational skills in housekeeping management or residential cleaning operations. Outdoor work experience can be beneficial for maintaining exterior spaces when required. Excellent communication skills for client interaction and understanding specific service expectations.
