Responsibilities Perform thorough cleaning of resident apartments, common areas, hallways, restrooms, and dining spaces using commercial cleaning equipment and supplies Ensure all surfaces are sanitized according to health standards, including floors, furniture, fixtures, and appliances Maintain cleanliness of laundry areas and assist with linen management as needed Follow established janitorial procedures to prevent cross-contamination and ensure safety protocols are met Restock cleaning supplies and report any maintenance or safety issues promptly to management Support team efforts during deep cleaning projects or special community events to uphold cleanliness standards Document cleaning activities and complete checklists to ensure accountability and consistency in service delivery Requirements Proven experience in cleaning, custodial work, or janitorial services, preferably within a senior living or healthcare environment Strong knowledge of commercial cleaning techniques and safety procedures Ability to operate cleaning machinery such as floor buffers, vacuums, and carpet cleaners effectively Excellent attention to detail with a proactive approach to maintaining hygiene standards Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment Physical stamina to stand, bend, lift, and perform repetitive tasks throughout the shift Good communication skills to coordinate with staff and report issues clearly Embark on a rewarding career where your efforts directly enhance the quality of life for our residents.
