Vacation Rental Cleaner / Housekeeping Technician Tortuga Cleaning - Lutsen, Minnesota Full-Time & Part-Time | Year-Round Tortuga Cleaning is looking for dependable, detail-oriented people to join our vacation rental cleaning team on Minnesota's North Shore. We service professionally managed vacation homes throughout the Lutsen, Tofte, Schroeder, and Grand Marais areas. We are currently hiring both full-time employees and part-time employees who can provide dependable weekly and weekend availability. This is a year-round position , although hours and workload naturally fluctuate with the tourism season. What You'll Do Our Cleaning Technicians are responsible for preparing vacation rental homes for arriving guests. This is more involved than traditional residential housekeeping and includes: Complete vacation rental turnover cleaning Making beds and replacing linens and towels Cleaning and sanitizing kitchens and bathrooms Vacuuming, sweeping, and mopping Guest-ready staging and presentation Inspecting homes for damage, missing items, or maintenance concerns Monitoring supplies and inventory Taking required before-and-after documentation photos Following property-specific checklists and instructions Transporting and handling linens and cleaning supplies as assigned Securing properties at completion Communicating promptly with management when problems are discovered Technicians work both independently and as part of a team depending on the property and schedule. Who We're Looking For The right person is someone who: Is dependable and consistently shows up when scheduled Takes pride in producing high-quality work Notices details without needing to be constantly supervised Can work efficiently while maintaining quality Is comfortable working independently Communicates clearly and professionally Is willing to follow established systems, checklists, and standards Can use a smartphone-based scheduling and documentation system Is comfortable working in a physically active position throughout the day Has dependable transportation Can work at least some weekends Previous professional cleaning, housekeeping, resort, hotel, hospitality, or vacation rental experience is helpful, but not required for the right candidate . We are willing to train someone with a strong work ethic, good judgment, reliability, and attention to detail. Schedule Vacation rental cleaning is driven by guest checkout and arrival schedules. Most work takes place during daytime hours, with the heaviest demand generally occurring on weekends and other high-turnover days.

Higher-level responsibilities and property assignments are available to technicians who demonstrate strong quality, reliability, efficiency, documentation, and judgment. Important Location Information This position requires travel between vacation rental properties in the Lutsen, Tofte, Schroeder, and Grand Marais areas. Tortuga Cleaning does not currently provide employee housing, relocation assistance, or relocation bonuses. Applicants must already live within a reasonable commuting distance or have their own independently arranged housing in the area. Reliable transportation is required.
