As a Room Attendant, you'll help ensure guest rooms and hotel spaces are spotless, refreshed, and ready to welcome guests with the warmth and care that defines our People People culture. What you'll be doing Clean and service guest rooms, suites, bathrooms, hallways, and assigned hotel areas according to hotel brand standards and operational procedures. Replace linens, towels, amenities, and guest supplies while ensuring rooms are refreshed, organized, and guest-ready. Inspect guest rooms for cleanliness, presentation, maintenance concerns, and operational readiness throughout shifts. Maintain cleanliness and organization of housekeeping carts, storage closets, linen areas, and operational workspaces. Report maintenance issues, lost and found items, safety concerns, and room status updates promptly and accurately. Respond professionally and courteously to guest requests and housekeeping service needs throughout the day. Follow sanitation standards, chemical handling procedures, hotel safety policies, and operational guidelines at all times. Support deep cleaning projects, room inspections, VIP arrivals, and special housekeeping assignments as needed. Partner closely with Housekeeping leadership, Front Office, Laundry, and Engineering teams to support smooth hotel operations and guest satisfaction. Help create clean, welcoming, and comfortable spaces that deliver memorable guest experiences aligned with Sonesta's People People philosophy. Any other duties as assigned. What great looks like Previous housekeeping, hotel, hospitality, cleaning, janitorial, or guest service experience preferred. Strong attention to detail with a commitment to cleanliness, organization, and presentation standards. Ability to work efficiently and independently in a fast-paced hospitality environment. Strong time management, reliability, and teamwork skills. Knowledge of cleaning procedures, sanitation standards, chemical handling, and hotel safety practices preferred. Positive attitude with a strong work ethic and service-focused mindset. Ability to communicate professionally with guests, team members, and hotel leadership. Flexible availability including mornings, weekends, holidays, and operational support as needed. A passion for hospitality, teamwork, cleanliness, and creating exceptional guest experiences.
