Housekeeper - Historic Wagon Wheel Motel Wagon Wheel Motel - Cuba, Missouri Help Keep a Route 66 Classic Running Strong The historic Wagon Wheel Motel is hiring a dependable housekeeping team member to help us maintain clean, comfortable, high-quality guest rooms and property standards. This position offers approximately 20-40 hours per week, depending on occupancy and staffing needs. Applicants must be available to work Saturdays, Sundays, and holidays. What You'll Be Doing Clean and prepare guest rooms to a high standard Make beds and replace linens Clean and refresh bathrooms Restock towels, toiletries, coffee, and guest supplies Wash, dry, fold, and organize linens Perform routine deep-cleaning tasks Help maintain cleanliness throughout the motel property Identify and report maintenance issues or supply needs Keep housekeeping areas, linens, and supplies organized Work efficiently so rooms are ready for arriving guests Schedule Approximately 20-40 hours per week Typical housekeeping hours are approximately 9:00 AM - 3:00 PM Hours may vary depending on occupancy Must be available every Saturday and Sunday Holiday availability is required Weekday shifts will also be part of the schedule Reliable attendance is very important in this role, especially on weekends and holidays when the motel is busiest. Pay Pay based on experience and responsibilities Team members who cross-train on the front desk and learn how to properly open and close the motel office will earn $16.00 per hour Front-desk duties may include assisting guests, answering phones, handling check-ins and check-outs, and basic office responsibilities We especially value employees who are willing to learn multiple parts of the motel operation and become versatile members of the team.
