7:00 a.m.-3:00 p.m. | 3:00 p.m.-11:00 p.m. | 11:00 p.m.-7:00 a.m. Job Summary The PRN Housekeeper/Kitchen Cook supports the daily operations of the assisted living home by maintaining a clean, safe, and welcoming environment while preparing and serving nutritious meals for residents. This position requires flexibility to work as needed across all three shifts and the ability to assist with both housekeeping and kitchen duties as assigned. The ideal candidate is dependable, compassionate, and committed to providing quality care and service to residents in a home-like environment. Employees are expected to treat residents with dignity, respect, and kindness while following facility policies, sanitation standards, food safety guidelines, and resident safety procedures.

Essential Responsibilities Include:

Clean and sanitize resident rooms, bathrooms, common areas, and other assigned spaces. Prepare, cook, and serve meals according to the facility's menus and dietary requirements. Maintain a clean and organized kitchen, dining area, and housekeeping supply areas. Follow proper food handling, storage, and infection control procedures. Assist with meal setup, cleanup, dishwashing, and kitchen sanitation. Report maintenance concerns, safety hazards, and resident-related concerns to the appropriate supervisor. Follow assigned shift duties and complete all required cleaning and kitchen tasks. Work cooperatively with the healthcare team to support residents' comfort, safety, and quality of life. The PRN Housekeeper/Kitchen Cook must demonstrate flexibility, professionalism, teamwork, and a genuine desire to help maintain a comfortable, family-oriented home for all residents.

Pay:

$15.50 - $16.00 per hour
