Responsibilities Perform thorough cleaning of guest rooms, bathrooms, corridors, and public areas using appropriate cleaning equipment and chemical agents Handle various cleaning tasks including vacuuming, dusting, mopping, upholstery cleaning, and room freshening to ensure they meet safety and aesthetic standards Conduct heavy lifting and manual handling of cleaning supplies, furniture, and equipment with proper technique to prevent injury Maintain sanitation standards by following hotel housekeeping management procedures and industry best practices Respond promptly to guest requests for additional amenities or special cleaning needs with excellent customer service skills Follow hotel emergency procedures when necessary to ensure guest safety and security during unforeseen incidents Periodical deep cleaning as needed Assist with laundry as needed Maintain room cleaning checklists to stay focused and efficient, as well as room maintenance checklists to keep all rooms in good repair. Keep rooms stocked with complimentary supplies Experience Prior custodial or janitorial experience in a hotel or industrial cleaning environment required Familiarity with hotel housekeeping management systems is preferred Knowledge of sanitation practices, floor care techniques, and cleaning equipment operation required Strong customer service skills with a friendly attitude toward guests and team members Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and work efficiently in a fast-paced hospitality setting Previous experience with hotel emergency procedures enhances your readiness to respond effectively in critical situations Join us in delivering exceptional cleanliness that elevates the guest experience!
