Job Description

Housekeeping Aide Help create a clean, safe, and welcoming home for our residents. We are looking for a dependable and detail-oriented Housekeeping Aide to join our skilled nursing team. As a Housekeeping Aide, you'll play a vital role in maintaining a sanitary, safe, and inviting facility for residents, families, and staff. Your work helps ensure our center feels like home. Shift Information:
Typically 8:00am to 4:30pm Must have flexibility to work some weekends What You'll Do Maintain a clean, orderly, and sanitary environment throughout the facility Clean resident rooms, restrooms, offices, lounges, hallways, therapy areas, and common spaces Perform emergency cleaning as needed Dust, disinfect, and polish surfaces, fixtures, furniture, and equipment Sweep, mop, disinfect, and maintain floors; assist with carpet cleaning and floor care Replace light bulbs, clean vents, remove lint from dryers, and support basic maintenance tasks Keep outdoor areas tidy, including entrances, patios, and walkways Replenish soap, towels, and other supplies Assist with room readiness for new admissions and discharges Follow infection-prevention procedures, including cleaning isolation rooms Ensure equipment, tools, and supplies are properly stored and maintained Respond to environmental service requests from residents and staff with professionalism and courtesy Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent preferred Previous housekeeping or environmental services experience (healthcare experience a plus) Ability to lift, bend, and perform physical tasks safely Strong communication and teamwork skills
