Overview Join our dynamic hospitality team as a Hotel Housekeeper and play a vital role in creating a welcoming, spotless environment for our guests. This energetic position offers the opportunity to ensure guest satisfaction through meticulous cleaning and sanitation of hotel rooms and public areas. As a Hotel Housekeeper, you will be the cornerstone of cleanliness, safety, and comfort, contributing directly to our guests' memorable stay. Your attention to detail and proactive approach will help uphold our high standards of hospitality excellence. Duties Perform thorough cleaning of guest rooms, bathrooms, hallways, and public spaces using appropriate cleaning techniques and equipment Handle various cleaning agents and chemicals safely, adhering to safety data sheets (SDS) and chemical handling protocols Vacuum carpets, sweep and mop floors, and maintain floor care standards to ensure pristine surfaces Manage heavy lifting tasks such as moving furniture or supplies with proper manual handling techniques Maintain cleanliness in accordance with hotel housekeeping management procedures and sanitation standards Restock supplies including towels, toiletries, and linens to ensure guest comfort at all times Follow hotel emergency procedures promptly and accurately in case of incidents or safety concerns Qualifications Proven custodial or janitorial experience, preferably within a hotel or hospitality environment Strong knowledge of floor cleaning, industrial cleaning, and sanitation practices Experience handling cleaning equipment such as vacuums, buffers, mops, and other janitorial tools Ability to handle chemical agents safely while maintaining compliance with SDS guidelines Excellent customer service skills with a friendly attitude towards guests and team members Physical stamina for manual handling tasks including heavy lifting and prolonged standing or walking Familiarity with hotel housekeeping management systems and procedures is a plus Knowledge of hotel emergency procedures and safety protocols is desirable Join us in delivering exceptional hospitality by maintaining the highest standards of cleanliness!
