JOB OVERVIEW - HOUSEKEEPER
Hampton Manor of Wentzville is seeking compassionate, dependable team members who want to make a meaningful difference every day. Our Memory Care and Assisted Living neighborhoods rely on staff who are committed to supporting residents with dignity, patience, and genuine compassion. The Housekeeper plays an essential role in creating a clean, safe, and welcoming environment that enhances the daily comfort and well‑being of our residents.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Clean and maintain resident apartments on a weekly rotation Clean and sanitize common areas including hallways, restrooms, activity spaces, and offices Prepare and clean vacant apartments for new resident move‑ins Perform laundry duties for facility‑owned linens such as cleaning cloths, mop heads, towels, and other non‑dining community linens Maintain housekeeping carts, equipment, and supply areas in a clean and organized manner Monitor and report maintenance or safety concerns to the Maintenance Manager Follow cleaning schedules, infection control practices, and safety procedures Interact with residents in a friendly, respectful, and professional manner Support a clean, safe, and comfortable environment in the Memory Care Unit Perform additional housekeeping tasks as assigned
QUALIFICATIONS
Previous housekeeping or cleaning experience preferred but not required Ability to work independently and follow established cleaning routines Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality work Ability to communicate professionally with residents and team members Ability to lift up to 50 pounds, push housekeeping carts, and perform physical cleaning tasks Ability to stand, walk, bend, and reach throughout the shift Must pass required background checks and health screenings
