Job Description
Overview In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining high standards of sanitation and cleanliness at this facility, ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations. Your proactive approach and commitment to environmental services will directly contribute to the well-being of staff, visitors, and patients alike. This is an excellent opportunity for individuals with janitorial experience or a background in hospital or custodial services who thrive in fast-paced environments and take pride in their work. Responsibilities Perform thorough cleaning and sanitation of client rooms, common areas, offices, restrooms, and hallways using appropriate cleaning agents and equipment. Maintain floors through proper care techniques such as sweeping, mopping, and vacuuming to ensure safety and appearance standards are met. Restock supplies such as paper products, hand sanitizers, and cleaning materials to ensure continuous availability. Adhere strictly to sanitation standards and environmental services protocols to promote a healthy environment for all facility users. Assist in kitchen / dining area with washing and drying dishes, serving food to clients, and transporting food to the clients' rooms. Experience Previous custodial or janitorial experience in healthcare settings or commercial environments is highly preferred. Knowledge of proper use of cleaning equipment such as vacuums, scrubbers, steam cleaners, and mops. Demonstrated ability to follow detailed cleaning procedures while maintaining efficiency in a contract housekeeping role. Ability to work independently with minimal supervision while maintaining high-quality standards.
