Job Overview We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Housekeeper to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness and sanitation in both residential and commercial settings. This role requires a strong work ethic, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently or as part of a team. Your contributions will ensure a welcoming and hygienic environment for our clients. Responsibilities Perform thorough cleaning of assigned areas, including dusting, vacuuming, sweeping, mopping, and sanitizing surfaces. Launder linens and towels as needed, ensuring they are fresh and clean for use. Maintain cleanliness in guest rooms, bathrooms, kitchens, and common areas in hotels or residences. Execute floor care tasks such as stripping, waxing, and polishing floors to maintain their appearance. Conduct carpet cleaning using appropriate techniques and equipment to ensure carpets are well-maintained. Assist with custodial duties in commercial spaces, including trash removal and restroom sanitation. Occasionally prepare simple meals or snacks as required by clients or guests. Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards to management promptly. Experience Previous experience in commercial cleaning or residential cleaning is preferred but not required. Familiarity with hotel housekeeping standards is a plus. Knowledge of proper cleaning techniques and use of cleaning supplies is essential. Experience with floor care equipment and carpet cleaning methods is advantageous. Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage time effectively while completing tasks efficiently.
