Job Overview We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Housekeeper to join our dynamic team! In this vital role, you will be responsible for maintaining a clean, comfortable, and welcoming environment for residents or guests of Greenbriar Nursing Center. Your energetic approach and dedication will ensure that every space meets high standards of cleanliness and sanitation. Whether working in residential settings, hotels, or commercial properties, you will play a key part in delivering exceptional service and creating a positive experience for everyone you serve. Duties Perform thorough cleaning of all areas including bedrooms, bathrooms,, and common spaces using appropriate cleaning supplies and techniques. Conduct floor care activities such as sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, and carpet cleaning to keep surfaces spotless and safe. Manage laundry tasks efficiently, including washing, drying, folding, and organizing linens and clothing items. Maintain sanitation standards by disinfecting surfaces and ensuring all areas are hygienic and free of germs. Provide excellent customer service by addressing requests promptly and ensuring a welcoming environment. Follow janitorial procedures for waste disposal, restocking supplies, and ensuring all cleaning equipment is maintained in good condition. Experience Prior experience in residential cleaning or custodial roles is highly desirable. Experience with hotel housekeeping or commercial cleaning environments is a plus. Familiarity with floor care techniques including carpet cleaning and floor polishing. Knowledge of sanitation standards and best practices for maintaining hygiene in various settings. Previous roles involving laundry management or housekeeper management are advantageous. Hands-on experience with janitorial equipment and cleaning products to ensure safety and efficiency.
