Hotel Room Attendant

Responsibilities Thoroughly clean and sanitize guest rooms, including making beds, vacuuming carpets, dusting surfaces, and replenishing amenities to ensure a pristine environment. Perform floor care duties such as mopping, sweeping, and polishing to maintain high standards of cleanliness throughout the hotel. Handle laundry tasks efficiently, including washing, folding, and organizing linens and towels. Maintain public areas by cleaning lobbies, hallways, elevators, restrooms, and other shared spaces with precision and care. Report any maintenance issues or damages promptly to ensure swift resolution and uphold safety standards. Follow all safety protocols related to cleaning chemicals and equipment use to protect yourself and colleagues. Assist with inventory management by restocking cleaning supplies and ensuring all tools are properly maintained. Qualifications Proven experience in cleaning, janitorial work, or housekeeping within a hotel or hospitality environment is highly preferred. Strong knowledge of cleaning techniques including floor care, industrial cleaning methods, and custodial practices. Excellent attention to detail with a proactive attitude toward maintaining cleanliness standards. Ability to work efficiently both independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced setting. Physical stamina to stand, bend, lift heavy objects, and perform repetitive tasks throughout shifts. Familiarity with hotel operations or housekeeping management is a plus but not required.
