Job Description
Job Summary We are seeking a dedicated and energetic team member to join our team and ensure the highest standards of cleanliness and comfort at McKinley Edwards Inn. In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining a pristine environment by performing a variety of cleaning, laundry, dishes, food preparation and sanitation tasks. Your attention to detail and proactive attitude will contribute to creating a welcoming, safe, and hygienic space for our guests. This position offers an opportunity to showcase your skills in cleaning, customer service, and other household tasks while providing exceptional service that exceeds expectations. Responsibilities Perform thorough cleaning of all designated areas, including bedrooms, bathrooms, kitchens, and common spaces using appropriate cleaning supplies and techniques Handle laundry duties efficiently, including washing, drying, folding, and organizing linens Ensure all sanitation standards are met by disinfecting surfaces and waste disposal areas regularly Provide excellent customer service by addressing guests' requests promptly and professionally Maintain cleanliness of appliances and fixtures such as sinks, countertops, and appliances to ensure optimal functionality Assist with special events on an as needed basis Experience Prior janitorial or custodial experience in residential or commercial settings is preferred Experience with hotel housekeeping or hospitality environments is highly advantageous Proven ability to manage laundry operations efficiently while maintaining quality standards Assisting in the kitchen with dishes, food preparation and cleanup Knowledge of sanitation procedures and safety protocols related to cleaning chemicals and equipment Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with guests The ability to go up and down 3 stories with housekeeping supplies (no elevator) Pay is based on experience Join us at McKinley Edwards Inn today.
