Responsibilities Perform thorough cleaning of guest rooms, bathrooms, corridors, and public areas using appropriate cleaning techniques and equipment. Handle various cleaning agents and chemicals safely, adhering to safety data sheets (SDS) and chemical handling protocols. Use vacuuming, mopping, dusting, and floor care methods to maintain pristine surfaces across all hotel areas. Manage heavy lifting tasks involved in moving furniture, linens, or cleaning supplies efficiently and safely. Ensure all sanitation standards are met by following hotel housekeeping management procedures and industry best practices. Respond promptly to guest requests or concerns related to cleanliness or amenities with a friendly, customer-focused attitude. Maintain cleaning equipment in good working order and report any malfunctions or safety hazards immediately. Requirements Proven experience in hotel housekeeping, janitorial work, or industrial cleaning environments is highly preferred. Knowledge of floor cleaning techniques, custodial procedures, and sanitation standards within hospitality settings. Ability to handle chemical agents responsibly while maintaining safety data sheet (SDS) compliance. Physical stamina for manual handling tasks including heavy lifting, prolonged standing, bending, and walking throughout shifts. Strong customer service skills with a positive attitude towards guest interactions. Familiarity with hotel emergency procedures and safety protocols to ensure a secure environment for all staff and guests. Experience operating cleaning equipment such as vacuums, buffers, or steam cleaners is advantageous.
