In this energetic role, you will be responsible for efficiently handling laundry operations, ensuring all items are properly cleaned, pressed, and stored to uphold high standards of hygiene and quality. Responsibilities Operate laundry equipment such as washers, dryers, and pressing machines to process linens, towels, uniforms, and other textiles. Sort laundry items based on type, color, and cleaning requirements to ensure optimal washing procedures. Perform cleaning tasks including dusting, sweeping, mopping, and disinfecting designated areas to maintain a tidy workspace. Handle dry cleaning processes for delicate or specialty fabrics following established safety protocols. Ensure all laundry is properly folded, pressed, and stored in designated areas for easy access and distribution. Maintain accurate records of laundry loads processed and monitor inventory levels of cleaning supplies. Follow health and safety guidelines to prevent contamination and ensure a safe working environment. Skills Proven experience with laundry operations, including the use of commercial washing machines and dry cleaning equipment. Strong knowledge of cleaning techniques and best practices for maintaining hygiene standards. Ability to handle delicate fabrics with care during washing and pressing processes. Previous hotel or hospitality experience is required ; a positive attitude towards guest service is essential. Excellent attention to detail to ensure all textiles meet quality standards before returning to use or storage. Good physical stamina to stand for extended periods and lift heavy laundry loads safely. Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks efficiently.
