• Rotating weekend coverage required About Us Spicewood Cottages is a small assisted living and memory care community in Clyde. Residents live here — a clean room and a good meal on time are not small things to them. If you take pride in leaving a place better than you found it, you will do well here. We are hiring for two positions. Tell us which one you are applying for and we will go from there. The RolesHousekeeper Keeping resident rooms and the community clean, comfortable, and ready. Clean resident rooms and bathrooms daily Clean and maintain common areas, dining room, hallways, and entryways Resident laundry, linens, and community laundry Trash removal and restocking supplies Deep clean rooms on turnover and on the posted rotation Kitchen Aide Supporting three meals a day and keeping the kitchen running. Meal prep and service support for three meals daily Serve residents in the dining room, including those who need assistance Wash dishes and clean the kitchen and dining room after every meal Keep the freezer, pantry, and storage organized, dated, and rotated Follow food safety standards and complete required logs What We're Looking For — Both Positions Dependable — you show up, on time, every scheduled shift Attention to detail; you finish what you start Able to work independently once you know the routine Comfortable working around older adults, including residents with memory loss Able to stand, walk, bend, and lift throughout the shift Willing to work rotating weekends Experience in senior living, hospitality, or food service is a plus — we train Kitchen Aide only: ServSafe or food handler certification helpful but not required.
