In this vital role, you will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness, sanitation, and overall comfort across residential spaces and common areas. Duties Perform thorough cleaning of residential units, including dusting, surface cleaning, floor care, carpet cleaning, and sanitation of bathrooms and kitchens using appropriate cleaning detergents and equipment. Implement cleaning and sanitation procedures to ensure compliance with health standards, including proper handling of cleaning supplies and manual handling techniques. Manage laundry services efficiently, including washing, drying, folding, and organizing linens and clothing items. Operate cleaning equipment such as vacuum cleaners, floor scrubbers, carpet cleaners, and other janitorial tools safely and effectively. Maintain cleanliness of floors through sweeping, mopping, polishing, and outdoor work as needed to uphold exterior appearance standards. Communicate professionally with residents or clients regarding their specific cleaning needs or requests. Manage time effectively to complete daily tasks within scheduled periods while maintaining high-quality standards. Experience Prior janitorial or custodial experience in residential or commercial settings is preferred. Hands-on experience with cleaning surfaces, floor care techniques, carpet cleaning, and sanitation procedures is highly desirable. Familiarity with cleaning detergents, disinfectants, and proper manual handling practices ensures safe and effective work. Customer service skills are essential for interacting positively with residents or clients during service delivery. Experience with outdoor work environments or residential housekeeping enhances versatility in this role.
