Support housekeeping staff by transporting linens, supplies, and equipment safely through manual handling and heavy lifting as needed. Maintain sanitation standards in public areas, hallways, stairwells, and service spaces to ensure a hygienic environment for guests and staff. Respond promptly to guest requests or issues related to cleanliness or facility maintenance with a friendly, customer service-oriented approach. Follow hotel emergency procedures and safety guidelines during all cleaning activities to ensure a secure work environment. Keep detailed records of cleaning activities, chemical handling procedures, and equipment maintenance for compliance and operational efficiency. Requirements Prior janitorial or custodial experience in a hotel or industrial cleaning setting is preferred. Knowledge of floor cleaning techniques, sanitation practices, and the proper use of cleaning equipment. Ability to handle chemical agents safely by understanding chemical handling procedures and SDS documentation. Physical stamina for manual handling tasks such as heavy lifting, bending, standing for extended periods, and walking throughout the shift. Strong customer service skills with a positive attitude towards guests and team members. Familiarity with hotel housekeeping management processes and hospitality industry standards is advantageous.
