Job Description
As a Room Attendant / Housekeeper at Daly Seven, you are the guardian of our guest experience. You don't just clean rooms; you create a sanctuary for travelers, ensuring every guest walks into a space that feels fresh, comfortable, and cared for. Your attention to detail and welcoming spirit are what turn a simple stay into a memorable experience. What You'll Do Create a Welcoming Environment Clean all assigned guest rooms and common areas to the high standards specified by the Head Housekeeper or manager. Always speak to guests with courtesy and a friendly smile. Perform daily checks of furniture, fixtures, and equipment to ensure everything is in perfect working order for our guests. Report deficiencies to the manager. Master the Logistics Mark each cleaned room on your housekeeping sheet and notify the front desk immediately when a room is ready. Complete missing linen reports for every room and promptly turn in all lost and found items. Maintain neat, locked storage closets and ensure your housekeeping cart is restocked, trash is emptied, and vacuums are cleared at the end of every shift. Arrive on time, in the appropriate uniform with your name tag, and obtain your work schedule promptly. Ensure Safety & Security Act as a vital part of the hotel security team by remaining alert for potential hazards and promptly reporting them to the manager. Maintain strict control of room keys at all times, keeping them securely in your smock and never leaving them on a cart. Keep all business information strictly confidential, both while on duty and off duty. Report all maintenance problems directly to the manager to ensure guest comfort. Previous housekeeping or cleaning experience is preferred. Attention to detail. Time management. Ability to lift up to 25 pounds, bend, stoop, and regularly go up and down stairs.
