Job Description
Overview We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Housekeeper to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness and orderliness in various environments, ensuring a welcoming and hygienic space for guests or residents. This role offers an opportunity to work in a professional setting where attention to detail and a strong work ethic are highly valued. Prior experience in cleaning or hospitality is preferred but not mandatory, as training will be provided. Duties Perform thorough cleaning of rooms, including dusting, vacuuming, mopping, and sanitizing surfaces Maintain floor care by sweeping, polishing, and applying appropriate treatments to preserve flooring quality Restock supplies such as towels, toiletries, and cleaning materials to ensure availability for guests or residents Handle laundry duties including washing, drying, folding, and organizing linens and towels Ensure all areas meet cleanliness standards set by management or industry regulations Report any maintenance issues or damages observed during cleaning duties Follow safety protocols and use cleaning equipment properly to prevent accidents or injuries Adhere to hotel or facility policies regarding sanitation and guest privacy Skills Proven experience in cleaning, janitorial work, or hospitality environments is advantageous Knowledge of floor care techniques and equipment operation Strong attention to detail with the ability to maintain high standards of cleanliness Excellent time management skills to complete tasks efficiently within scheduled shifts Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment Good communication skills for coordinating with team members and reporting issues effectively Experience in industrial cleaning or custodial roles is a plus Background in housekeeping management is beneficial for supervisory positions This position provides an excellent opportunity for individuals passionate about maintaining clean and welcoming environments.
