Housekeeping associate

What you can help us do : Keep our hotel clean and in working order by providing exceptional quality housekeeping services and contributing to the overall guest experience.

This is a full time job, must have weekends available.

Your every day:

Part time; mostly morning of Thursday-Sunday every week. Additional hours may be available after performance review. Responsible for deep cleaning of guest rooms. Replenishes supplies such as drinking glasses, writing supplies and bathroom necessities. Sweeps, scrubs, waxes, and polishes floors. Cleans rugs, carpets, upholstered furniture, and draperies, and dusts furniture. Washes walls, ceiling, woodwork, windows, door panels and sills. Empties wastebaskets, and empties and cleans ashtrays. Promptly reports all maintenance issues in guest rooms to the immediate supervisor. Respond in a timely, helpful and friendly manner to all guest requests Performs Special cleaning projects and/or duties as assigned What you need to perform this job successfully : Related work experience in the hospitality industry. Attention to detail. Dependability, timeliness and high levels of Professionalism. Ability to lift and/or move up to 50 pounds. Basic English skills for the purpose of understanding common requests, following instructions and reading and understanding safety labels and emergency instructions. Required experience Prior housekeeping experience is preferred
