Job Description
Job Summary We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Housekeeper to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness and order in various environments, including hotels and residential settings. This role requires a strong commitment to customer service and the ability to work independently or as part of a team. Duties Perform thorough cleaning of guest rooms, bathrooms, and common areas in accordance with established standards. Conduct floor care, including vacuuming, mopping, and carpet cleaning to ensure all surfaces are spotless. Launder linens and towels, ensuring they are fresh and well-presented for guests or residents. Sanitize high-touch areas to maintain a hygienic environment for all occupants. Provide exceptional customer service by responding to guest requests promptly and courteously. Assist with light cooking duties as needed, ensuring kitchen cleanliness and organization. Maintain inventory of cleaning supplies and report any shortages or needs to management. Follow safety protocols and guidelines while performing cleaning tasks. Skills Proven experience in hotel housekeeping or residential cleaning is preferred. Strong knowledge of floor care techniques and equipment operation. Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with guests and team members. Familiarity with carpet cleaning methods and equipment is a plus. Ability to launder items efficiently while maintaining quality standards. Strong attention to detail with a commitment to cleanliness and sanitation practices. Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team environment.
