This energetic leader will ensure that all guest rooms, public areas, and back-of-house spaces are maintained to the highest standards of cleanliness, safety, and hospitality. As a Housekeeping Lead, you will motivate and supervise a team of cleaning staff, manage daily schedules, and uphold quality standards that enhance guest satisfaction. Duties Supervise and coordinate daily housekeeping activities, ensuring all cleaning tasks are completed efficiently and thoroughly. Lead, motivate, and train housekeeping staff in proper cleaning techniques, safety procedures, and customer service standards. Monitor the quality of work performed by team members, providing feedback and coaching to maintain high standards. Manage inventory of cleaning supplies, linens, laundry items, and custodial equipment to ensure availability and proper usage. Oversee laundry operations including sorting, washing, folding, and distributing linens and uniforms. Conduct regular inspections of guest rooms and public areas to verify cleanliness, safety compliance, and maintenance needs. Foster a positive team environment by promoting teamwork, accountability, and a strong work ethic among staff members. Qualifications Proven experience in cleaning or custodial roles with a strong background in hotel or hospitality environments. Supervising experience with demonstrated leadership skills in managing cleaning teams or janitorial staff. Knowledge of commercial cleaning techniques, laundry processes, and custodial management practices. Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively in a fast-paced setting. Excellent communication skills to provide clear instructions and feedback to team members. Ability to perform physical tasks including standing for extended periods, lifting supplies, and performing detailed cleaning duties. Previous experience in housekeeping management or housekeeper leadership roles is highly preferred.
