In this vital role, you will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness standards across all guest areas, ensuring sanitation and safety protocols are rigorously followed. Responsibilities Perform thorough cleaning of guest rooms, bathrooms, corridors, and public areas using appropriate cleaning agents and equipment Handle chemical agents safely by adhering to safety data sheets (SDS) and proper handling procedures Vacuum carpets, mop floors, and care for various floor surfaces to maintain pristine conditions Conduct heavy lifting tasks such as moving furniture or supplies safely and efficiently Ensure all cleaning tasks comply with sanitation standards and hotel emergency procedures Maintain cleanliness of cleaning equipment and report any maintenance needs promptly Deliver excellent customer service by responding courteously to guest requests and inquiries related to housekeeping services Qualifications Proven janitorial or custodial experience within hospitality or industrial cleaning environments Knowledge of floor care techniques, vacuuming, and general cleaning practices Ability to handle chemical agents responsibly while following safety protocols Experience with hotel housekeeping management or similar roles is preferred Strong manual handling skills with the ability to perform heavy lifting safely Familiarity with hotel emergency procedures and safety data sheets (SDS) is advantageous Excellent customer service skills with a positive attitude toward guest interactions Join us in creating a clean, safe, and welcoming environment where every guest feels valued!
