From $14.00 per hour + opportunity to earn tips Job Overview We are seeking a reliable, detail‑oriented Room Attendant to join our housekeeping team. Room Attendants play a vital role in creating a clean, comfortable, and welcoming environment for our guests and are essential to delivering a positive hotel experience. This position is full‑time , works morning shifts , and is based on‑site at our property in Morrisville, NC . This is also a tipped position , and Room Attendants may receive tips directly from guests in addition to hourly pay based on guest interaction and service. Key Responsibilities Clean and prepare guest rooms according to hotel standards Change linens, make beds, and replenish room amenities Clean and sanitize bathrooms and high‑touch surfaces Vacuum carpets and perform general floor care Restock towels, toiletries, and in‑room supplies Inspect rooms to ensure cleanliness, organization, and readiness Report maintenance or safety concerns promptly Follow all safety guidelines, cleaning procedures, and company policies What We're Looking For Previous housekeeping, hotel, custodial, or industrial cleaning experience preferred (but not required — training provided) Strong attention to detail with pride in quality work Ability to work efficiently in a fast‑paced environment Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently and as part of a team Comfortable performing physical job duties throughout the shift Ability to communicate effectively with supervisors and coworkers Physical Demands & Work Environment This position is physically active and requires the ability to perform routine housekeeping tasks throughout a full shift.Candidates should be comfortable with:
Standing and walking for extended periods Bending, reaching, kneeling, and twisting regularly Lifting, pushing, and pulling housekeeping carts and supplies Making beds and changing linens multiple times per shift Performing repetitive tasks while maintaining quality and attention to detail Working at a steady pace to complete assigned rooms within scheduled timeframes The work environment is indoors and includes the use of common cleaning products.
