Job Summary:

A Hotel Housekeeper is responsible for maintaining cleanliness, order, and a welcoming environment in guest rooms and public areas. This role ensures that guests have a comfortable and pleasant stay by meeting cleanliness and hygiene standards.

Key Responsibilities:

Clean and tidy guest rooms, bathrooms, and common areas Change bed linens, replace towels, and restock toiletries Vacuum, sweep, mop floors, and dust furniture Empty trash bins and dispose of waste properly Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards to management Ensure all cleaning equipment and supplies are used properly Follow hotel cleanliness and sanitation standards Respond to guest requests in a courteous and timely manner Maintain confidentiality and respect guest privacy

Qualifications:

High school diploma or equivalent (preferred but not always required) Previous housekeeping or cleaning experience is a plus Ability to work independently and as part of a team Good time management and attention to detail Physical stamina (ability to stand, bend, lift, and walk for long periods) Basic communication skills
