Duties Clean and sanitize guest rooms thoroughly, including making beds, dusting surfaces, vacuuming carpets, and cleaning windows to ensure a pristine environment. Handle laundry services efficiently, including washing, folding, and organizing linens and guest clothing items. Maintain cleanliness of public areas such as hallways, lobbies, restrooms, and stairwells using appropriate cleaning techniques. Use cleaning equipment and chemicals safely while adhering to sanitation standards and infection control protocols. Perform window cleaning and pressure washing tasks to uphold the property's exterior appearance. Assist with custodial responsibilities like floor care, including mopping, polishing, and heavy lifting of cleaning supplies or furniture when necessary. Follow all safety procedures by utilizing personal protective equipment (PPE) during cleaning tasks and handling chemicals responsibly. Requirements Prior custodial or janitorial experience is preferred; familiarity with commercial cleaning practices is a plus. Ability to perform manual handling tasks such as heavy lifting and operating cleaning equipment safely. Experience with infection control procedures and sanitation standards to ensure a hygienic environment. Knowledge of chemical handling protocols for cleaning agents and disinfectants. Strong customer service skills with a positive attitude towards guests and team members. Ability to work independently or as part of a team in fast-paced settings while maintaining attention to detail. Physical stamina to stand, bend, lift, and perform cleaning duties throughout shifts.
