Use cleaning equipment safely and effectively, including pressure washers and janitorial tools, while adhering to proper chemical handling procedures. Maintain sanitation standards by properly disposing of waste and ensuring all areas meet infection control protocols. Assist with custodial tasks in public spaces, corridors, and service areas to support overall facility cleanliness. Support heavy lifting activities for moving supplies or furniture while using personal protective equipment (PPE) to ensure safety at all times. Conduct routine inspections of cleaning supplies and equipment, reporting any maintenance needs or safety concerns promptly. Qualifications Proven janitorial or custodial experience with a strong understanding of commercial cleaning practices. Knowledge of cleaning techniques including window cleaning, pressure washing, and floor care. Experience with laundry services and handling cleaning chemicals safely. Ability to perform manual handling tasks involving heavy lifting with proper technique and PPE use. Excellent customer service skills to interact politely with guests and team members. Familiarity with infection control standards and sanitation procedures in hospitality settings. Ability to operate various cleaning equipment efficiently while maintaining safety standards.
